Celebrity Big Brother fans think they have sussed Mickey Rourke’s game plan and believe he will quit no matter the result of tonight’s eviction. The Hollywood star has been nominated for eviction alongside Jack P Shepherd and Michael Fabricant in the first of the series.
Since entering the house on Monday night, Mickey has stirred up plenty of controversy from his very uncomfortable entrance to making a homophobic slur. Mickey was even issued a formal warning about his behaviour following the comment made towards housemate JoJo Siwa. He appeared to grab onto host AJ Odudu when entering the house, and former Dance Moms star JoJo was left in tears by Mickey’s comment about her sexuality later in the week. Many viewers branded his warning not strong enough and urged for him to be kicked off the show.
However, no matter the outcome of tonight’s eviction, some think Mickey has already decided he’ll walk. During many chats to his co-stars, Mickey has appeared to imply he is staying for four days then he’ll be gone.
One fan took to X to share the theory as they said: “Does anybody else have a feeling Mickey Rourke will leave the house tonight regardless of whether he’s evicted?
“He seemed pretty adamant this was a 4 day job — and it wouldn’t be the first time he completed a short contract then self-eliminated.” They added a clip of Mickey’s stint on the Masked Singer, where he decided to take off his mask after his very first performance despite not being told to do the grand reveal.
Another viewer added: “I agree, I wouldn’t be surprised if he is ‘evicted’ or just walks out with tonight’s evictee. The fact he hasn’t even picked out a bed or bothered to unpack says a lot.”
Someone else commented: “I think he’ll walk if he knows he’s getting his fee.” However, others want Mickey to remain in the house as a fan shared: “I hope that if the viewers save him he won’t walk. He seemed to want to stay last night.”
“Pretty sure if you walk you don’t get paid, so if he wants the money, he’ll stay till he’s evicted,” another wrote. Mickey was also caught making a ‘fat shaming’ comment to comedian and actress Donna Preston.
While she was wearing an LED face mask and lying on his bed, Mickey asked if she had been seeing any results. He told her: “You’d probably be better off running round the block for ten minutes.”
Donna said: “I’ve got to try something. I’m getting a little turkey neck,” before Mickey added: “It comes with the territory.” Visibly confused she asked: “What, life?” as Mickey replied: “Yeah. It’s like they say, you are what you eat.”
Donna, as well as viewers, were shocked by the comment as well as Mickey’s behaviour in the house. Mickey has bagged the highest pay cheque out of all the housemates for appearing on the show, according to reports. He’s set to pocket a staggering £500,000 for his time.
