‘Best series on Netflix’ just dropped a new trailer and fans are ‘mind blown’

Must read

Netflix has just released the trailer for a series that viewers claim is ‘one of the best creations’ from the streamer.

Debuted in 2019, Love, Death and Robots will release its fourth season this May. Similar to Netflix’s other hit show Black Mirror, the series has an anthological format, with each episode telling a new story.

Across its three seasons, the last of which came out in 2022, the animated series has explored hefty themes including the potential dangers of advanced technology.

After a long three-year wait, Netflix has now confirmed the new season will be released on Thursday, May 15.

The upcoming instalment will feature ten new short stories, all impressively produced by a team of writers and artists. Leading the crew is showrunner Tim Miller, best known for directing hit movies such as Deadpool.

The rest of the line-up is also impressive, with Oscar-nominated filmmaker David Fincher (Fight Club) serving as an executive producer for the 13-time Emmy-winning show.

In the new teaser, released on Tuesday 8 April, viewers are given a glimpse into the ‘ten trips’ they can anticipate from Volume 4. But, in true Love, Death and Robots style, there is no way of telling exactly what the plots will entail.

However, Netflix has teased that “the upcoming volume will include T. rex gladiators, scheming felines, household appliances who need better work-life balance, and much more.”

Although the trailer doesn’t give much detail away, viewers have still been left stunned.

One person expressed their excitement on YouTube, commenting: “My mind is officially blown, Glad to see [animator] Robert Valley back at it again with a brand new instalment. May 15th can’t come any sooner!”

Meanwhile, a second fan praised the series: “I absolutely fell in love with the way every episode of this show connects with people. So pumped for Volume 4!”

Someone else shared their playful request to the streamer: “10 episodes? You could make 100 and it still wouldn’t be enough! The best series created by Netflix!”

Another simply vowed: “One of the best creations to be on Netflix.” Their sentiments were echoed on Reddit, where a devoted fan crowned the animated show as the “best series on Netflix without a doubt.”

Love, Death and Robots Volume 4 premieres on Netflix on May 15
