“The Traitors” returns with a fresh lineup of celebrities geared up for a thrilling murder mystery adventure.
The announcement of the cast for the reality competition series’ fifth season on Friday introduced a new batch of well-known personalities, including singer Cody Simpson, reality TV star Whitney Leavitt, Real Housewife Gizelle Bryant, and multi-talented performer Kristin Chenoweth. A diverse mix of participants, including a Canadian, will be entering the castle with a mindset of suspicion and caution.
In this season’s gameplay, host Alan Cummings will designate a select few as traitors, while the rest are considered faithful players. The traitors will convene in secret each week to eliminate one faithful contestant. Subsequently, the group will gather to engage in discussions, accusations, and voting in an attempt to identify and expel suspected traitors.
Recently renewed for three more seasons, “The Traitors” swept the 76th Emmy Awards, claiming victories in categories such as outstanding reality competition program and outstanding host for Alan Cummings.
