Morrisons is distributing more than 27 tons of carrots for customers to give to Rudolph and his pals.
Starting from December 20 until Christmas Eve, shoppers can receive a complimentary carrot from the “Naturally Wonky” selection while supplies last. These carrots may have slightly unconventional shapes or sizes.
Chris Smith, Root Veg Senior Trader at Morrisons, expressed, “Christmas is about spreading happiness and goodwill, so we are thrilled to provide our young customers with a free wonky carrot to leave out for Rudolph and friends on Christmas Eve.
“Our Naturally Wonky line supports British farmers, reduces waste, and offers customers a budget-friendly option that still tastes excellent.”
This offer coincides with numerous major UK supermarkets reducing the cost of Christmas vegetables to just 5p, encompassing potatoes, carrots, parsnips, cabbage, and Brussels sprouts. The complete list of discounted Christmas vegetables is available below.
