A recent official parliamentary investigation has revealed that a former Conservative aide, who switched to the Reform party during the Tory conference, engaged in bullying and harassment towards a colleague. Robbie Lammas, a former employee of then-party chairman Richard Holden MP, was found guilty of bullying by Parliament’s Independent Complaints and Grievance Scheme (ICGS). The investigation indicated that Lammas intimidated a junior staff member and even demanded a hug inappropriately after a heated exchange last year.

The investigation concluded that Lammas misused his position of authority, causing the woman to feel vulnerable, upset, undermined, humiliated, and threatened, leading to an intimidating and hostile work environment. Witnesses reported that Lammas raised his voice, made false accusations against the staffer, and threatened her by mentioning his past actions of firing employees.

Following his defection from the Conservative Party to Reform UK during the Conservative Party Conference in Manchester, Lammas has faced further allegations of inappropriate behavior from multiple former colleagues. One ex-staffer raised concerns about sexual harassment complaints and accused Lammas of obtaining female staff members’ addresses from a party database to send them cards. Another colleague described Lammas as “a massive creep” and claimed he was dismissed for inadequate performance.

Despite these allegations, Lammas vehemently denied any wrongdoing, labeling the complaint as a coordinated attack by CCHQ and Richard Holden due to his defection. Reform UK has been contacted for a response regarding the matter.
