EE has introduced new SIM plans to address a common issue faced by many customers – running out of data while on the go. The latest pay-as-you-go SIMs from EE come with a complimentary feature called “Data Parachute,” which automatically provides users with 1GB of free data if they unexpectedly run out.
The purpose of Data Parachute is to ensure that customers can stay connected, whether for communication with friends and family or using navigation apps like Maps. This extra data cushion gives users some breathing space until they can top up their data allowance.
Starting at £10 per month, these new plans offer various benefits, including data rollover that carries over unused data to the next month and free data boosts that add extra data to customers’ allowances. Additionally, EE pay-as-you-go customers have access to the 5G network, delivering enhanced performance and faster speeds.
Here is a breakdown of the pricing for the new plans:
– £10 for 20GB
– £15 for 75GB
– £20 for 150GB
– £30 for 200GB
– £35 for Unlimited data
While other providers may not offer a feature like Data Parachute, there are competitive deals in the market. For instance, SMARTY currently provides 80GB for £8 per month or Unlimited data for £20. Giffgaff has plans offering 75GB for £10 per month and 60GB for £13.
It is advisable for consumers to compare different deals and select a plan based on their actual data usage to avoid unnecessary costs.
