Ed Sheeran has reportedly purchased a £1 million farm near his Suffolk home as he prepares to move his family to the US for the next leg of his tour. After earning around £650 million from his recent Mathematics tour, Ed is said to be prudent with his finances and has chosen to establish another residence, dubbed ‘Sheeranville,’ in close proximity to his current location.
According to a source, Ed acquired a Grade II-listed farmhouse and its surrounding land to create a new space for entertainment and music creation. The property includes multiple barns that Ed is transforming, with one already serving as a recording studio. Additionally, he has repurposed an old piggery into a lavish man cave equipped with a bar, gym, pool table, and bowling alley.
Notably, Ed is also planning to cultivate his own vegetables on the restored fields surrounding the property. In a recent interview on the 2 Johnnies podcast, Ed disclosed that he, along with his wife Cherry Seaborn and their two daughters, Lyra and Jupiter, will be relocating to the US for work commitments.
The family is leaving behind their current £3.7 million estate in rural Suffolk, which boasts amenities like a gym, pool, tree house, and a separate bungalow where Ed has penned many of his hit songs. Ed confirmed his move to America on the podcast, expressing his dedication to touring and settling in the US with his family.
Set to release his eighth studio album, Play, on September 12, Ed is embarking on a new musical journey, collaborating with artists and producers worldwide to explore diverse musical influences. The album, influenced by Indian, Persian, and Irish folk traditions, aims to create boundary-breaking music.
Known for his exceptional songwriting skills, Ed has previously penned songs for well-known artists like One Direction and Niall Horan, showcasing his versatility and talent. As he ventures into new creative territories, Ed’s upcoming album is highly anticipated by fans eager to hear his innovative sound.
