During the premiere episode of the latest season of “Married at First Sight UK,” one of the brides, Sarah, became emotional as she opened up about her late mother, Julie. Sarah, a 31-year-old recruitment consultant from Aberdeen, shared her feelings during a joint hen do with her fellow participants.

Reflecting on her upcoming wedding, Sarah mentioned that her father, whom she referred to as her “rock,” would walk her down the aisle in place of her mother. She spoke candidly about losing her mother at the age of 22, highlighting the challenges she faced while caring for her mother due to alcohol-related issues.

In a heartfelt moment on the show, Sarah tearfully recalled the days leading up to her mother’s passing, emphasizing the peace she felt knowing her mother was no longer suffering. Despite missing her mother dearly, Sarah acknowledged the strength she gained from the experience and expressed her belief that her mother would be proud of her.

As the group toasted to Sarah’s late mother, the bride shared her appreciation for the support and comfort she received from her father and friends. She acknowledged the absence of her mother in significant life events and expressed the resilience she has developed in coping with her loss.
