A deceased individual has been discovered in the search for a British tourist who went missing from his accommodation in Spain. The police have verified this development, stating that the man’s identity is yet to be officially confirmed. The body was found in a wooded area near the Costa Brava resort of Lloret de Mar, where holidaymaker Josh Rogers had been missing for a few days.

Reports suggest that investigators suspect the body may belong to Josh. Although formal identification is pending, sources have indicated a high likelihood that the deceased person is the missing British tourist.

Hailing from Bloxwich near Walsall, West Midlands, Josh had shared updates about his trip to Lloret on social media. His last post before disappearing featured a photo of a drink at Birmingham Airport’s JD Wetherspoons on the day he departed for Spain.

Friends and family initiated a search effort upon his disappearance, expressing concern over his prolonged absence. Authorities are working to determine the cause of death, with no apparent signs of violence on the body found.

In a separate incident, Spanish authorities recently located the body of another missing British citizen, Andrew Wade, who had vanished in Costa del Sol. The discoveries of these individuals have raised alarms within the expatriate community and prompted increased vigilance among travelers in the region.
