Anthony Joshua is keeping the boxing world on edge regarding his comeback, with plans to announce his next fight just 48 hours before the event. His last bout was a knockout defeat by Daniel Dubois in September at Wembley, and he is eyeing a warm-up match before a potential showdown with Tyson Fury. The former two-time heavyweight champion may even feature on an undercard before Christmas, with the decision on his next opponent expected this week, according to promoter Eddie Hearn.

Hearn revealed that Joshua’s comeback fight could be a surprise entry without prior promotion to generate excitement. While discussions about potential opponents for a warm-up bout have taken place, the focus is on a low-key return for Joshua. The exception to this low-key approach would be a potential clash with YouTuber Jake Paul, although Hearn clarified that Joshua is not in contention for a matchup with Paul for now.

Meanwhile, the highly anticipated rematch between Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn is scheduled for November 15 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Fans can catch the action on DAZN PPV for £24.99 or through a DAZN Ultimate subscription for free.

Joshua is currently exploring new coaching options after parting ways with trainer Ben Davison, with a recent visit to Oleksandr Usyk’s training camp in Spain. He has worked with several esteemed trainers in the past, including Tony Sims, Rob McCracken, Robert Garcia, and Derrick James, before aligning with Fury’s former stable.
