Artemis Home Oakley Double Swing Egg Pod Chair usually retails at an eye-watering £499.99 and fits two people easily. Shopping marketplace Yimbly, owned by the Mirror’s parent company Reach Plc, garden buffs wanting to upgrade their outdoor space can get the chair for £349.99 on sale.

The chair comes in a handful of shades from light and dark grey to brown and cream so you can tailor it to your garden’s decor and is also available in a singular style on sale for £329.99 from £419.99.
The Artemis Home Oakley Double Swing Egg Pod Chair is made with a durable rattan-effect material and is supported by a solid, powder-coated metal frame, which ensures the chair is durable and reportedly weather-resistant. The chair itself can hold up to 150kg, so you know its pretty strong and makes for the ultimate lounging spot come summer.
Measuring at H181 x W122 x D72 cm, it’s a decent size that can cater for any garden gatherings you may have. While there are no reviews of the chair as of yet, it’d be wise to get a furniture cover as while it is marketed as weather resistant, a cover would help keep it looking fresh and pristine over the years.
For something a little more dainty and space saving, Debenhams has reduced the price of this OUTSUNNY Hanging Swing Chair with Thick Cushion, Rope Structure Patio Hanging Chair by 33%, meaning it now costs £195.99 instead of £293.99. Shoppers have heaped praise on it saying it’s ‘very well made and sturdy’, which is what you want in a chair of this style.
Alternatively, if you want to add some colour to your space, Dunelm’s bright blue Elements Peacock Hanging Egg Chair is currently £199 and has been awarded an impressive 4.9 stars. One happy garden fan who bought the turquoise blue chair said: “Love this chair. Very comfy and the colour is just gorgeous.”
Another raved: “Probably the best thing I’ve bought in a long time. Really pleased with the chair. It’s comfortable and was easy to put together. Delivery was great. The driver put it in the garden for me. Such a great colour too!!”
“What an amazing buy,” someone else added. “Comfortable, luxurious and worth every penny, well done Dunelm.”
Although not everyone was as pleased, with one Dunelm customer citing: “Beautiful looking chair, great colour. Comfortable cushions. The downside is the actual chair is quite small compared to others I have had and so therefore not as comfortable . Cannot curl up in this one for an afternoon nap as chair not deep enough.”
