Lewis Capaldi appears happy and healthy in rare snap with unlikely Towie star pal

Must read

Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi cut a happy-looking figure as he posed for a snap with a pal from TOWIE. The 28-year-old star was joined by Bobby Norris, 38, as the pair hugged. Bobby showed off his bright white smile in the image, while Lewis grinned and gave a thumbs up to the camera.

It’s a rare image of the Someone You Loved star after he stepped back from the limelight almost two years ago following health concerns amid his Tourette’s diagnosis. But the Instagram image shared on the reality TV star’s page seemed to show Lewis in good spirits.

Bobby captioned his upload, which was a string of the same pictures: “Yes Lew! Sorry Britney darling, I love ya and all that but @lewiscapaldi wins this one hands down.. #lewiscapaldi #britneyspears”

The image was liked by many of Bobby’s TOWIE cast mates, including Chloe Brockett. Many followers also took to the comments section to share their love of how well the Scottish star is looking. One user wrote: “Fab pics.

“Both looking. It’s so good Lewis out and about enjoying life!!! This man is exceptional, talented & funny. I hope his comeback is pending.”

Another said: “Didn’t think I’d see A pic of Lewis capaldi for the first time in 2025 with Bobby but I’m loving it!,” while a third added: “Love this. miss seeing him, hope he is well xxx”

It was revealed in March that Lewis is planning his musical comeback. A pal of the singer added he is sounding better than ever following his break since 2023. Almost two years ago, Lewis emotionally shared his decision to pause his music career to focus on his mental health and manage his Tourette Syndrome.

During a performance at Glastonbury, the chart-topper openly discussed his struggles, raising awareness about his condition. Then, after the festival, Lewis announced that he needed to take a break away from his job to focus on himself.

He said at the time he needed to rest and recover after a “mentally and physically” challenging few months. Lewis went on to cancel all shows and gigs he had been scheduled to play before revealing his condition had worsened.

He admitted he was struggling to control his tics while performing and acknowledged there could come a day when he’d have to quit music because of it.

However, with a comeback mooted, Yungblud – real name Dominic Harrison – said: “I have heard his new music and it sounds great. He is getting his mental health right. I love him, as me and him have been on this ride together.”

Speaking to the Sun. he went on: “We experienced it at the same time and he is perhaps the only friend who knows what I am going through, in the same way I know what he’s going through.”
