The Costway Garden Rattan Daybed is a large sofa-style design with enough space for two people to lounge comfortably, and comes with a long ottoman that lets you configure in several ways to maximise seating. You can set it up as a two seater sofa with the ottoman acting as a separate bench for others to sit on, or place it in front of the sofa to turn it into a loungeable day bed.
You can even detach the ottoman cushions to use it as a coffee table, giving you multiple pieces of furniture in one. There are also two hidden side trays which fold up on the side of the daybed, giving you extra places to store drinks, snacks, books and suncream, before folding them back flat to take up less space.
When not in use, you can push the ottoman underneath the day bed, saving you space. The ottoman also has a lift up door which allows you to access hidden storage underneath it, which is hands for storing all kinds of garden tools and cushions whilst still giving you easy access to them.
Unlike other day beds, which have a fixed position, the Costway Garden Rattan Daybed can be fully adjusted, with four different backrest positions that let you sit upright, recline, or lie completely flat. One did mention: “Fast delivery. Allen wrenches tend to strip at ends while securely tightening all the bolts causing frustration. Instructions have few words and pictures are occasionally difficult to orient. From step 1, I miss-assembled and had to start over by step 3. As a single individual, assembly is challenging when holding to align pieces and tightening hardware is simultaneously required. By the time I thought I would lose my mind, I passed the point of no return and finished the last few steps. All of the cushions and throw pillows DO NOT fit in the footrest storage. The cushions are more comfortable than they appear. Since assembly, I sat for several hours in comfort with the dog.”
