A man was attacked so savagely by a pack of aggressive dogs that an eyewitness at the scene shockingly died from a heart attack. Horrifying images caught the moment the victim desperately tried to fend off the fighting beasts in Perm, Russia, on April 15.
Footage showed the man desperately trying to fight off two dogs, which appeared to be pit bulls, in a fenced car park while traumatised witnesses helplessly watched from the other side. The attack was so gruesome that one of the onlookers – a security guard – died after severe stress from the incident trigged a tragic heart attack.
Shocking footage showed the victim walking over to the fence while one of the dogs, which had bit and latched onto the man’s arm, was being dragged along with him. The man then attempted to scale the fence but he was dragged down by the ravenous beasts.
The victim was then seen on the ground attempting to fight the dogs off his body. This horrifying video then cuts to the dogs being led back into the car park after they were apparently separated from their victim.
This man suffered serious injuries, including severe lacerations to his arms and other parts of his body, and he was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
These vicious dogs were reportedly abandoned by their owner, who was later detained by the Russian National Guard. Police have launched an investigation into the horrific tragedy.
This shocking incident has not been the only recent dog attack to shake Russia. A nine-year-old girl was killed after a pack of raging dogs tore into her.
Horrific footage caught the moment these dogs pounced on the child while she was sledging in the snow near her home in Stavropol. The video showed the child falling to the ground and waving her arms up to call for help.
A man tried to save the child by firing a gun to chase the dogs away from her, but it was too late. Local resident Vladimir Muravyov said: “Everyone here is in shock. When a child is torn apart by dogs, it is a shock. It is a shock not only for the street, but for the city.”
Mayor Ivan Ulyanchenko said: “Unfortunately, it was not possible to save the girl. Doctors who arrived at the scene of the tragedy confirmed the child’s death.”
A nine-year-old boy had his “face torn off” after he was ambushed in a terrifying dog attack. Valya Korolev was rushed to hospital as doctors attempted to reattach parts of the boy’s face, that were found in the dog’s stomach – including his nose.
