Just days after Mickey Rourke was axed from the show, Big Brother has been forced to step in again – this time with his rival Chris Hughes. The Love Island alum was caught breaking house rules, and was quickly called out in front of his fellow stars.
Celebrity Big Brother shared a teaser from tonight’s episode on X, formerly known as Twitter, showing all of the housemates gearing up to making eviction nominations.
While people are supposed to keep their nominations private, Chris, 32, outlined his predictions to Donna Preston – and even encouraged the actress to share her nomination with him. In the clip, the duo was caught sitting in the garden as Donna admitted: “I really want to talk – I can’t…” Chris immediately caught on, and asked: “Did you want to say why you were gonna vote for someone?”
Chris kept digging despite Donna trying to shut the conversation down, staying silent for a moment after Donna exclaimed: “We’ll get in trouble.” He then got straight back into his wheedling, musing: “I’d say I guess I know who Trisha and Patsy are going to vote for.” Donna countered: “Right, I don’t think we can have this conversation”
“No, but they’ll probably – no, we can’t, but they’ll probably vote for each other. That’s fair, after yesterday,” Chris said, later asking: “Who are you voting for then?” as Donna told him to “shut up.”
The teaser then showed the housemates giving the reason for their nominations in the Diary Room, before they all gathered in the living room when Chris’ actions were brought up in front of all of his pals.
“This is Big Brother. Chris, stand up,” the voice said, as Chris rose and muttered: “Am I going in the bin? I didn’t think I did anything wrong.”
“You have broken a fundamental rule of the Big Brother House and you will be punished,” he was told, and as Chris disagreed the voice continued: “Big Brother has provided the Celebrity Wheelie Bin of Shame.”
Ella Mae Wise – whom fans think is ‘jealous’ of Chris’ bond with JoJo Siwa – commented on how “funny” it was that Chris was going in the bin, while Trisha Goddard noted: “He doesn’t get the rules, does he?”
Ending his telling off, Big Brother told the former islander: “Chris, you must prepare and deliver an apology rap.” Chris’s very unique apology might be a nod to his time in Casa Amor, back when he became a meme in 2017 for his actions during a tense moment.
While the other islanders were having a serious moment at the firepit, Chris tried to break the ice by offering: “Do you want me to rap anyone? Lighten the mood a bit.”
