Brody on Coronation Street may live to regret tormenting Sean and Dylan Wilson according to new spoilers for the ITV soap.
The character has been tormenting Dylan in the STC, while he’s also been targeting Dylan’s dad Sean. He’s wanted Sean to do things for him including smuggling in a burner phone, threatening Dylan’s safety to get him to do as he is told.
But he may push things too far next week, leading to a revenge plan and a possible downfall for the teen villain. Sean takes action and decides enough is enough, ready to take him down.
Amid reports that Brody will be exposed as the secret son of Mick and Lou Michaelis, and possibly the biological son of Kit Green, the teen takes centre stage next week.
Brody manages to call Sean from the STC and demands he does a job for him. Sean asks pal Glenda for money leaving her concerned, unaware Brody is wanting the money by the end of the day – and it seems it pushes Sean to commit an unforgivable act.
Things reach a dramatic point as Sean enlists STC tutor Daniel Osbourne’s help in retrieving some specific evidence that could expose Brody for once and for all – so is his downfall sealed?
Teasing the episodes and what happens, our soap source revealed: “It’s breaking point for Sean. He’s being pulled into dodgy dealings out of fear for his son’s life.
“Sean would do anything for Dylan but he comes to realise that doing as Brody says will not help him or his son in the long run. Enough is enough, and he decides to take action in the hope of triggering Brody’s downfall – but he could make matters so much worse.”
Elsewhere in Weatherfield next week, things simmer on between Abi Franklin and her brother-in-law Carl Webster as they keep their moment in the carpark from Abi’s husband Kevin. But it all blows up when Abi accuses Carl of deliberately coming between her and Kevin, after their clear spark and him asking her out.
Kevin demands to know what’s gone on, but will they admit the full truth? Amid rumours Abi and Carl could have an affair, Abi goes to new lengths to get him out of the way.
Soon Carl faces having to fly back to Germany as his business is about to go bust. Kevin’s gutted and wishes he could help while Abi’s keen for him to go, but what will Carl decide?
Our soap source teased of the latest drama for the Websters: “Abi is completely torn. She gets on with Carl, but she knows that spark between them is only going to deepen and can cause real problems for her and her marriage.
“She’s finally where she needs to be in life. She’s got a family and a husband who loves her. Carl being on the cobbles threatens that happy future, but whether she can keep things on track is another story.”
