White Stuff’s summer collection includes a ‘stretchy’ jumpsuit you’ll want to live in

Must read

With warmer days finally here, it’s time to embrace floaty dresses, breezy blouses and everything in between. And while rediscovering last year’s favourites is always fun, there’s nothing quite like adding a few fresh pieces to your spring/summer wardrobe.

With that in mind, British fashion brand White Stuff, known for its laid-back, feel-good style and playful prints, has just dropped a new summer collection — and we’ve combed through it to find our top three picks. Even better, they’re all on sale.

First up is this Lorna Linen Blend Maxi Dress (£79.20 from £99), an eye-catching number that is the definition of sunshine. It features a bold yellow hue that’s impossible to miss, along with delicate frill detailing and a flowing silhouette that’ll keep you cool and stylish on the hottest days.

Whether you’re heading to a picnic, garden party, or just soaking up the sun, it’s sure to look gorgeous. Pair it with a sunhat, oversized glasses and metallic sandals, and you’re good to go.

If you’re more of a jumpsuit person, this linen blend option (£76 from £95) is the perfect one-and-done piece for easy summer styling. Made from a viscose-rich fabric, it’s breathable, lightweight and has just the right amount of stretch for all-day comfort. Heads up, though; it’s already sold out in sizes 8 and 10, so if you’re tempted, we recommend snapping it up quickly.

It’s had some decent reviews online, with one shopper saying: “I love the style of this jumpsuit. The fabric is good, with the linen blend giving it a nice feel with a bit of stretch. It’s easy to get on, as the elastic at the back and the wrap at the front open up quite wide. This is important, as getting in and out of jumpsuits is the tricky bit.”

However, someone else added: “(It) fits well apart from gaping at the chest, will have to sew a press stud on as (it is) too revealing.” If this is a concern, this Joe Brown Pixie Jumpsuit (£65) is a great alternative with a zip-up front so you can alter it as you like.

Our final pick is this Sophie Organic Cotton Shirt, ideal for office days as well as brunch dates in the sun. Its light blue fabric is dotted with embroidered white squares, adding a touch of whimsy to this classic design.

Reviewers love it, with one saying: “Love this shirt — so easy to wear. I bought two in different patterns, thinking about returning for more.” Meanwhile, another piped up: “This top is so comfortable, fits perfectly and looks very smart. I bought size eight, and it fits all right places.”

But someone complained the material was “see-through.” In that case, it might be worth opting for a darker colour — Nobody’s Child’s black pinstriped shirt (£55 from £65) is a good option.

Still, if you’re looking to give your wardrobe a seasonal boost, White Stuff’s summer collection is worth a look. The range is available to shop here. Note: White Stuff charges £3.95 for delivery unless the order is £70 and over.
