Theme park fans can enter for free but only with this first name

Must read

If you love a theme park day out and you’re also looking for something to do with the kids over the Easter holidays then don’t miss out on this incredible chance to enter one completely for free. There’s just one important rule though.

Today is the first anniversary of the world’s first LEGO duelling rollercoaster at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort.

The Minifigure Speedway is celebrating the momentous date by offering free entry to the park for one day only to anyone named Roxie in honour of the coaster’s official mascot.

The first 100 guests named Roxanne or Roxie can enjoy complimentary entry to the park for the day to join in celebrating the wheelie-special occasion. It’s also the perfect opportunity to enjoy all the rides and attractions that LEGOLAND has to offer during the Easter holidays.

Ramesh Ganeson, Vice President at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, said: “Minifigure Speedway has fast become one of our guest’s favourite attractions thanks to its adrenaline-fuelled fun for the whole family.

“We can’t wait to welcome guests of all ages called Roxanne or Roxie to enjoy an unforgettable day on behalf of the team at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort.”

Dressed in a glistening racing suit and standing at a whopping 30ft tall, Roxie is the world’s tallest LEGO minifigure and stands proudly over the LEGO duelling rollercoaster, which has become a fan favourite at the attraction inspired by the great Speedway circuits seen across the world.

The high-octane family-friendly coaster sees riders reach speeds of up to 56km/h as they make their way around a dynamic dual-track layout. Teams race forwards and in reverse, with a different winner every time.

Kids will love the real, live race between the Team Legends and Allstars, led by their Minifigure captain.

The park’s rides and attractions are best suited for 2 – 12-year-olds, but there’s something here for the whole family.

Those wanting to take advantage of the offer must bring a valid ID to claim one free ticket from the admissions office at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort when accompanied by at least one paying guest.

Paying guest tickets must be pre-purchased via the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort website in advance.

Tickets to LEGOLAND Windsor start from £29 per person, and kids under 90cm go free. For more information and to book your trip visit www.legoland.co.uk
