Nicola Adams’ former long term girlfriend Ella Baig has brushed off accusations her racy content played a part in their split as she continues to post on OnlyFans. The boxer and Strictly Come Dancing star, 43, called it quits with the adult content creator, 27, last month.
She confessed Ella’s lucrative OnlyFans career took a toll on their relationship when opening up on the breakdown of their seven-year relationship. Nicola and Ella were once inseparable before welcoming their adorable son Taylor two years ago via IVF.
The happy family garnered a legion of loyal fans, yet in March their fairy tale came crashing down and said their sole focus was on co-parenting their son. They reportedly ended up in couples therapy as their relationship unravelled and tried to do everything they could to make it survive.
While neither Nicola or Ella have commented on why they decided to call it a day, the Strictly Come Dancing star admitted her ex’s raunchy career played its part in their breakup Speaking to The Sun, Nicola recently said: “I have always been incredibly supportive of Ella’s career and the choices she has made, including her work on OnlyFans.”
She added: “However, as much as I respect what she does, I can’t deny that it has had an impact on our relationship.” Ella has appeared to brush off Nicola’s comments as she has continued posting racy content online.
Ella shared a snap of herself sat seductively on a bed while in a blue bra on her Instagram Story just hours after sharing a post about “judgement”. She then donned a skin-tight black and white stripe dress that she pulled up and down while shaking her bum and asked: “Like my dress?”
The online star also posed in see-through gold lingerie while pouting at the camera as she opened up to her fans in a Q and A session. She was asked if she would date a man, to which she replied: “Tricks only pls.”
Over the weekend, Ella shared a cryptic comment following Nicola’s admission. She shared a promotional post for her OnlyFans account and later returned to her Instagram Stories to re-post a video from another OnlyFans creator.
The caption read: “Ur a bad influence. But you’re judgmental and that’s worse.” Following their split, a source close to the couple told the publication: “They really tried to make it work, especially for the sake of their son, and even went to couples’ therapy, but came to the conclusion that they were better off separating.
“They still have a lot of love for each other, and great memories, but are focused on being brilliant co-parents.” The couple had met on a night out and at that point Ella hadn’t ventured into the world of OnlyFans and was working as a make-up artist and blogger.
They went on to welcome son Taylor Nate two years ago via IVF using one of Olympian Nicola’s eggs. Ella carried their child before giving birth a month before her due date.
Nicola and Ella were forced to deny they had secretly tied the knot in November 2022 after rumours started to swirl at the time that they’d got hitched in Mexico. Sadly, after publishing their sun-kissed snaps, things took a turn for the pair and they split last month.
