Former One Direction star Louis Tomlinson was spotted enjoying the opening of Coachella as his new romantic connection enjoyed herself nearby. Louis, 33, cut a low-key figure at the iconic annual music festival.
He was seen wearing a white tank top and brown shorts while also wearing dark circular sunglasses at the event. Meanwhile, former Love Island star Zara McDermott, 28, was enjoying a shopping trip in Beverly Hills.
Zara took to Instagram to share a smiling selfie from hoer outing in California with a pal. She wore a blue striped crop top for the occasion. While they weren’t pictured together, the duo had been spotted travelling stateside recently together and are said to have spent time together discreetly on the trip.
While keeping any official relationship status under wraps, both Louis and Zara recently shared snaps on social media from the same location. The duo were watching Stereophonics at The Wiltern theatre in LA and uploaded videos to their own social media accounts.
The speculation the pair were an item first came to a head in March. At the time, a fellow diner at The Suffolk in Aldeburgh shared photographs of the duo seemingly enjoying a romantic date.
“They looked every bit the happy couple,” one onlooker said of the couple who are said to have been holding hands and giggling. It’s thought the duo had dined on £100 fish and chips plus cocktails during the outing.
While friends insist it is “early days”, the pair have been enjoying a series of “low-key” dates and have been clearly having fun together. The new pairing comes after Zara’s split from Made in Chelsea boyfriend Sam Thompson in December.
It hasn’t been confirmed how the pair met. However, it has been speculated that the former One Direction star’s sisters may have played a part. Daisy and Phoebe Tomlinson, 20, are currently making a documentary and are known to be fans of reality television shows.
This led to fans wondering if the pair, along with their older sister Lottie, brought Zara and Louis together. The sisters had already been following Zara on social media, with Louis following her more recently.
A source also claimed that all of Louis’ sisters had provided their “blessing” for Zara to date the singer. Speaking to The Sun, an insider said: “He’s very close to his sisters and knows they have his best interests at heart.
“The fact they have actively given Zara their blessing says a lot about her character.”
Louis and Zara’s ex, Sam, are in line for an awkward run-in later this year. The football fans have both signed up to play for England in the upcoming Soccer Aid for UNICEF, taking place on June 15 at Manchester’s Old Trafford.
