Celebrity Big Brother housemates risk coming to blows as tension starts to mount already

Must read

Tension is already brewing between a pair of Celebrity Big Brother housemates, just hours after they entered the iconic house. A fresh set of celebrities including Hollywood star Mickey Rourke, TV icon Trisha Goddard and social media sensation JoJo Siwa made their dramatic entrances last night.

They appeared full of excitement as the housemates got to know each other when the ITV show kicked off. However, it may not be as peaceful and friendly as it first seemed as one star declared: “Not everything is about you.”

RuPaul Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard made an unforgettable entrance into the house, where he was greeted by his new housemates. He admitted to being full of nerves but was excited to get stuck into the social experiment show.

Yet just hours after entering the house, it seems Danny had an unwanted reception from one housemate. Olympian Daley Thompson made a comment to Danny that sent his head into a spin.

In scenes set to air later tonight, Danny confided in comedian Donna Preston has he explained the situation. He told Donna that earlier in the living room they mistakenly thought Mickey Rourke was selecting them and Daley said to Danny: “Not everything is about you”.

Speaking in the store room, Danny tried to seek reassurance as he told Donna: “I’m overthinking it. I’m gonna totally make an effort with him tomorrow, that’s it.”

However, in the diary room speaking to Big Brother, Danny admitted: “I think I’ve tried to make an effort with everybody, but I heard Daley make a comment like ‘well not everything revolves around you’ and, I don’t know if I’m overthinking it…

“I can sense or I feel like he’s a bit wary of me and that’s fine cause maybe I’m also a little bit wary of him.” We will have to see if tension carries on between the pair or if they are able to bury the hatchet nice and early.

The show returned with a bang, yet all attention remained on Mickey’s uncomfortable first appearance. He certainly left a lasting impression on viewers – and not for the right reasons due to his “inappropriate” behaviour towards host AJ Odudu.

After Mickey, 72, was introduced to the studio crowd and viewers at home, he continued to gaze at AJ, looking her up and pouting down before grabbing onto her. “I’m gonna stay with you,” he said.

AJ responded: “Stop looking at me.” In another twist, after he prolonged his entrance to the house, hosts AJ and Will Best attempted to speed things up by pushing Mickey into the house – but he decided to grab AJ and attempted to take her in with him.

During the launch episode of Late and Live, AJ made her feelings about the incident very clear. Comedian Alan Carr commented: “Can we talk about Mickey Rourke looking at you – wow.” “His eyes!” AJ replied.

Alan attempted to make light of the uncomfortable situation, adding: “Find someone who looks at you like Mickey Rourke looks at you, his tongue was hanging out.” A defiant AJ said: “It was! You can’t afford these feathers, Mickey,” as she referenced her show stopping outfit.
