TV presenter Denise Van Outen looked stunning as she revealed her latest career move. The former Big Breakfast host, 50, was a mainstay on the small screen for a number of years before turning her hand to acting and singing
She also starred on Broadway in and The West End in Chicago. Now, after posing on a beach in a multicoloured two-piece, Denise has revealed her next move. She explained how her latest project sees her working alongside some of her industry pals who are “up for it”.
Denise revealed: “I’m writing a sitcom – I’ve included some of my friends in it and they’re up for it. We shoot the pilot this summer”
It comes after she also announced her musical comeback 22 years after her first album was released. Speaking to The Sun’s TV Mag, she went on: “I DJ so I’ll be doing lots of festivals, and I’ve got an album out of covers and new songs.
“All the songs are relevant to a point in my life – it’s basically the soundtrack to my autobiography, A Bit Of Me, which will eventually be a stage show in 2026.”
And she is also the face of Channel 4 series, Secrets of the Supermarket Buyers. She hosts the show as she examines how a number of people are able to influence what millions of shoppers buy every day in Britain.
In the series, Denise will meet meet current and former buyers from the nation’s biggest supermarket chains. Along the way, she will learn how it is decided what will be sold at the nation’s consumers.
Away from her career, Denise recently admitted she feels she will never find love ‘in real life’ again. Instead, she has turned her attention to celebrity dating app Raya.
It comes after she confirmed her split from property developer Jimmy Barba in November last year after 18 months together.
Since then, she has confessed she can’t meet potential suitors in her local pub as she knows everyone already. Instead, she has turned her attention to the app.
She recently told the Sun: “Actually, for me, dating apps are a really good thing. I don’t know how else I would meet people if I wasn’t doing that.
“I’ve got Betsy, so I can’t just go out on a week night to a pub to meet someone. The only way I can do it is through an app. When I go out to DJ, I’m actually working and I don’t hang around. I’m in and out of the venue, so I don’t get to speak to people.”
