Millions of Sky Mobile subscribers are set to experience an increase in their monthly bills starting next month following the announcement of a new price hike. The majority of customers will witness a £1.50 monthly rise, amounting to an annual increase of £18. However, some individuals may face varied adjustments to their bills.

The escalated charges will be evident in customers’ bills from February 14, 2026, marking the first pricing alteration for in-contract Sky Mobile users in over seven years. Customers under contractual obligations who are dissatisfied with the increment have the option to terminate their packages without incurring early termination fees.

While the standard tariffs are subject to the price surge, the social tariff designed for low-income users will remain unchanged. Sky attributed the price adjustment to amplified wholesale network expenses and assured customers that notifications regarding the bill hikes will be disseminated starting today.

A spokesperson from Sky Mobile emphasized the necessity of the increase to uphold the expected quality, service, and value for customers. The spokesperson mentioned that the decision was made after a considerable duration without mid-contract price alterations, highlighting the industry-wide cost pressures and the company’s commitment to enhancing network infrastructure and customer experiences.

In a similar vein, O2 recently disclosed that nearly all mobile and SIM-only contract subscribers will encounter a £2.50 monthly increase from April 2026, surpassing the initially planned £1.80 increment. Three mobile customers opting for data plans of 4GB or less from November 9 will face a £1.80 monthly rise from April 2026, exceeding the present £1 increment by 80p.

Customers with data plans ranging between 4GB and 100GB will witness a £1.90 monthly increase from April 2026, while those with over 100GB will face a £2.30 hike per month. Three broadband users can expect their bills to surge by £3.50 monthly from the same period.

Vodafone mobile subscribers engaging in deals from November 12 will encounter a monthly bill hike of £2.50, with Basics SIM plan users facing a £1.50 increase. Additionally, Vodafone broadband consumers will experience a £3.50 monthly price elevation. Existing Vodafone or Three broadband and mobile contract holders will witness the previously agreed-upon price increments.
