A man, aged 55, has been taken into custody on suspicion of murder following the tragic death of a 17-year-old girl who was earlier reported missing. The young girl was discovered at a residence in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, around 9 am on Sunday. Despite the efforts made by emergency responders, she was pronounced dead at the scene. While formal identification is pending, authorities believe the deceased is Catherine, the missing teenager reported on Saturday.
