Prince Andrew’s appearance in newly released files on Jeffrey Epstein in the US has sparked controversy. The Duke of York was identified as a passenger on Epstein’s private jet in documents unveiled by House Oversight Committee Democrats. The flight, which took place in 2000, included Andrew, Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and two other undisclosed individuals.
Additionally, the documents suggest that Elon Musk was potentially scheduled to visit Epstein’s private island in 2014. Musk’s name appeared on Epstein’s itinerary with a note questioning the visit. This revelation comes amid Musk’s previous comments about Donald Trump and Epstein, where he hinted at hidden information regarding their association.
The surfacing of these documents follows the emergence of an email from Sarah, Duchess of York, to Epstein, expressing regret for publicly distancing herself from him. The email, where she referred to Epstein as a “supreme friend,” was reportedly written under threat of defamation lawsuit. The fallout from this communication led to the duchess being removed from several charitable organizations she supported.
Epstein, a convicted sex offender, was found dead in his jail cell in 2019. His death was officially ruled as a suicide.
