A man in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, captured a mysterious white shadow on his Ring video doorbell, sparking speculation of a ghostly encounter. Shane Irwin, a horror enthusiast living across from a cemetery, was alerted by the doorbell about a visitor, only to find no one present but a ghostly figure moving along the pavement.

Irwin, intrigued by the paranormal, shared his eerie footage, emphasizing the clear visibility of the apparition even in broad daylight. He expressed his belief that the spectral figure he witnessed was indeed a ghost, citing the lack of fog and the unusual daytime occurrence as reasons for his conviction.

The incident echoes a recent ghost sighting at Oxford Castle, where a cloaked white figure resembling historical accounts of Empress Matilda’s escape was photographed in a doorway. The figure’s appearance coincides with longstanding tales of Matilda’s spirit haunting the castle, adding to the castle’s mysterious allure.

The photo, taken by an Australian tourist during a visit, showcases similarities to Matilda’s escape narrative, further fueling speculations of supernatural presence at the historic site. The tourist, Lewy Jones, unintentionally captured the ghostly figure while descending the castle stairs, later noticing the eerie image upon reviewing his photos.

Jones described the figure in the photo as a cloaked entity in a white dress, a stark contrast to the empty room he and his cousin had observed during their visit. The uncanny resemblance to Matilda’s legendary escape adds a chilling dimension to the ghostly sighting at Oxford Castle.
