A new TV judge is making his debut, aiming to live up to the high standards set by his famous mother. CBS Media Ventures unveiled a trailer for “Adam’s Law,” a fresh courtroom series featuring Adam Levy, the son of the renowned Judge Judy. Fans of Judge Judy’s sharp wit and no-nonsense approach will likely appreciate Levy’s quick-witted and cutting remarks showcased in the trailer, demonstrating a similar courtroom demeanor.

Initially hesitant to pass on the gavel, Judge Judy humorously admitted in the trailer that she was not ready to relinquish control years ago, acknowledging her son’s talent and expressing competitive reluctance. The upcoming series, produced by Judge Judy herself, is scheduled to premiere on September 14, following the success of the original “Judge Judy” show, which concluded after a 25-season run as a top-rated syndicated program.

With over 25 years of legal expertise, including serving as a district attorney and teaching trial advocacy, Levy encourages litigants to prioritize truthfulness on “Adam’s Law.” Confident in her son’s abilities, Judge Judy predicts that his show will resonate with audiences, potentially becoming a leading daytime program. Scheduled to air on various CBS-owned stations in the U.S. and on Citytv in Canada, “Adam’s Law” promises a blend of entertainment and legal acumen for viewers.
