Dani Dyer, a popular contestant on the television show Strictly Come Dancing, has unfortunately had to withdraw from the competition due to an ankle fracture sustained during rehearsals. Dani shared her disappointment on social media, explaining that she had a fall during practice and the subsequent MRI scan revealed the fracture.

In a statement on Instagram, Dani expressed her sadness at not being able to continue on the show, as she is not permitted to dance with a fractured ankle. She will miss performing with her dance partner Nikita but will support the other contestants from the sidelines.

Executive Producer Sarah James from BBC Studios praised Dani’s energy and enthusiasm on Strictly Come Dancing and wished her a speedy recovery. Dani’s early exit from the show due to injury mirrors a previous incident in 2018 when she had to leave ITV2’s Survival of the Fittest after dislocating her shoulder during a challenge.

Despite the setback, Dani remains resilient, having faced injury challenges in the past. Her fans are eager to see if a replacement will be brought in for her on Strictly Come Dancing or if her partner Nikita Kuzmin will continue solo.
