Apple has officially released iOS 27 for public beta testing, allowing iPhone users to preview the upcoming upgrade before its official launch in September. Interested users can sign up for the beta program on Apple’s Software Beta Program site to explore the new features and improvements.

Apple promises enhanced speed across its device lineup with iOS 27, particularly for older models like the iPhone 11 and iPhone 12. The update is said to boost app launch speeds by up to 30%, accelerate photo loading in the library, and expedite AirDrop transfers by up to 80%.
Additionally, iOS 27 introduces a new transparency slider for customization of the interface’s appearance, refreshed app icons, upgraded photo-editing tools, and improved connectivity for uninterrupted Wi-Fi and network transitions.
