Donald Trump branded ‘dumbest president’ after six-word geography confession

Must read

Donald Trump has been branded the “dumbest president ever” after he made a staggering admission exposing a major gap in his knowledge. The 45th US president made the six-word claim in a speech broadcast from the Oval Office, leaving viewers taken aback by his comments. This comes at a time when the US and the Democratic Republic of the Congo are reportedly in the process of finalising a deal concerning minerals from the central African country.

Erik Prince, former CEO of Blackwater and Trump supporter, is said to be leading a team helping the nation secure and tax its mineral wealth in what has been described as a “minerals deal”. However, the President’s comment on the deal revealed a rather large blind spot.

A post on X captured Trump‘s commentary on the deal, leading some to concur that he was indeed the “dumbest president ever.”

The post on X stated: “WTF. In an unbelievable display of ignorance, Donald Trump confesses he doesn’t know where the Congo in Africa is: ‘many people come from the Congo.'”

However, it was the next six words that left viewers aghast. The post continued, quoting the president: “‘I don’t know what that is.’ He is the dumbest president we ever had.”

Some weren’t shocked by Trump’s lack of knowledge about the Congo, with one person commenting: “I’m not surprised.”

Another vented: “Trump’s cluelessness about the Congo is a new low, geography matters when you’re leading a nation.

“This isn’t just ignorance; it’s a dangerous blind spot for someone who once held the nuclear codes. We deserve better than a president who can’t locate Africa on a map.”

One supporter attempted to clarify Trump’s position, saying: “He’s not even saying that he doesn’t know where it is. He’s saying he doesn’t know ‘what’ that is.”

Yet some were more lenient towards the US president, praising his transparency. They commented: “He’s the most honest President we’ve ever had.”

While there are plans for collaboration between the US and the Congo on mineral security, the specifics of how the Trump administration will contribute remain vague.

Senior advisor to the president of the United States Massad Boulos, who is related to Tiffany Trump by marriage, hinted that American companies might play a role in the agreement and would be integral to the “path forward” for exploiting the minerals.

He announced: “You have heard about a minerals agreement. We have reviewed the Congo’s proposal. I am happy to announce that the president and I have agreed on a path forward for its development. Rest assured, American companies are operating transparently and will stimulate local economies.”

Following these developments, Congolese legislators have expressed that it is “essential” for the Congo and United States to collaborate on initiatives aimed at continuing to foster peace.
