EastEnders fans saw a familiar name light up on Bianca Jackson’s (Patsy Palmer) phone at the end of tonight’s episode – and they’re now convinced we’ll be seeing a return for one legendary character. At the end of tonight’s episode, Bianca could be seen ringing her mum, Carol Jackson after learning Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) has plans to head off to Bali with her dad, Terry.
However, before Carol could answer, Bianca was interrupted by Terry who came around the corner. “I take it she’s given you the good news,” he said. “Listen, I’d offer to buy you a ticket but the offer only stretched to flesh and blood.”
“You might think you can pull the wool over her eyes, but you don’t fool me,” Bianca told Terry. Bianca’s phone started ringing as her mum returned the call – and Terry was less than impressed. “Oh, that’s the plan is it? Get the old battle-axe involved?”
Bianca was having none of it as she exclaimed: “Bothers you does it? Someone who knows the real you?” As Terry went on to bad mouth Carol and Bianca, Bianca got up to hit him, but Terry forcefully restrained her.
“You always were a gobby little b***h,” he shouted in her ear. “Always crying until you got your own way. A woman like you needs a good slap, just to keep them in check,” he continued as Bianca whimpered in fright. “Now listen, I’ve waited a long time for this and I’m not going to let you ruin it ok?!”
However, some fans think Carol heard all – and will be making her way back to Walford to protect her daughters. Taking to Reddit, one fan penned: “Anyone else think that Bianca accidentally answered the phone while Terry threatened her and that Carol might have heard everything?” as another replied: “I hope so!”
A third fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: “CAROL’S BACK TOMORROW I FEEL IT IN MY BONES #eastenders,” as another agreed: “OMG surely carol is back tomorrow!”
Lindsey Coulson, who played the role of Carol Jackson was last seen in the soap ten years ago. In an emotional exit, the character was seen leaving the Square on Jim’s motorbike.
Tomorrow’s episode looks to be an emotional on as in first look pictures, Bianca can be seen showing Sonia her bruises from Terry, as she tries to convince her he hasn’t changed. However, when Sonia asks him, he tries to manipulate the situation. Will Sonia believe her sister or the father who just walked back into her life?
A present, Sonia is set on moving to Bali with Terry alongside her daughters Bex and Julia. But after Bianca’s huge revelation, will she change her mind?
