Celebrity Big Brother fans have been left fuming after Trisha Goddard’s shock exit from the house. Talk show host Trisha was up for eviction alongside Coronation Street legend Jack P Shepherd and EastEnders icon Patsy Palmer.
Last night, Trisha was evicted from the house after the public chose to send her home. Speaking to hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best about her time in the house, Trisha said she was “a bit sad” to have been evicted. Trisha said being in the house was “respite” from her cancer diagnosis.
She revealed: “It meant a lot, it’s respite, it’s a holiday from having to think about cancer because with the Big Brother team and my team in the States, they’d cleared everything so I didn’t have to think of the next scan. Everything was cleared and I could be like a child again and yes, I did talk about cancer.
“I had to, why I’ve got my own bedroom and things like that. It is part of my life, as it is for 3.4 million Brits, so it was just a break from having to think about it. Heavy subjects came up now and again but it was just a break.”
Alongside Trisha, Patsy also received six nominations from Angellica Bell, Chesney Hawkes, Chris, Danny Hughes, JoJo Siwa and Trisha whilst Trisha was nominated by Chesney, Chris, Ella Rae Wise and Patsy. Coronation Street legend Jack – who plays David Platt – was nominated by Angellica, Danny Beard, Donna Preston, JoJo and Trisha.
Trisha and Patsy nominated one another because of the divide between the pair, given that Patsy lives in Los Angeles and Trisha lives on the east coast of America. However, fans were left baffled as both Patsy and Trisha are actually from east London.
Fans have been left fuming by Trisha’s surprise exit and are now calling for someone else to be booted from the house, insisting that the wrong person went. One wrote: “The wrong person was voted out, change my mind.”
“I really thought Jack was going to go, Trisha brought so much energy to the house, sad to see her go!” another shared, with a third writing: “And boring Jack gets to stay. I will never understand the way people vote in these programmes.”
A fourth wrote: “Feel bad for Trisha, Jack should have gone again #CBBUK,” with a fifth writing: “Trisha just talks people’s ear off like any good 67 year old woman. She was entertaining, energetic and really not that bad. Jack has STILL given us absolutely NOTHING.”
It has been reported that a double eviction will take place next, sending two housemates packing from the famous house.
