Celebrity Big Brother star Tiffany Pollard has found herself in hot water over her latest comments. The New York-native reality TV star, 43, has been a regular guest on the ITV spin-off show, Late & Live. However, her outlandish behaviour has led to complaints.
Tiffany hasn’t held back with her views of this year’s contestants, often giving controversial opinions. And it’s two in particular that have caused viewers to share their discontent with the show’s big bosses.
Tiffany, who is best known for appearing on Flavor of Love with Flavor Flav, was pulled up for her comments regarding housemates Jack P Shepherd and Donna Preston. During her appearance, she said: “But she [Donna] knows how to order a cheese pizza!” She went on to call Donna “plus size.”
Host AJ Odudu furiously hit back: “So what?” Tiffany replied: “Because she’s plus sized, she’d know how to order my dinner!” Meanwhile, co-host Will Best commented: “We want her there because she is very funny and I personally think she’s a great housemate.”
The comments have not gone down well with viewers who flocked to social media to share their views. One user on X, formerly known as Twitter, shared a complaint email they had sent to ITV.
It read: “For the second night in a row since ‘Tiffany’ has been on the Celebrity Big Brother Late and Live show, I have found her vocabulary completely inappropriate. 15th April she referred to Donna as ‘plus size’ in a derogatory manner. 16th April she referenced size of a man’s penis.”
The user’s complaint went on: “This is completely unacceptable and she should be removed from the panel and a formal apology made by ITV. I look forward to your response.”
She wasn’t the only person hitting out at Tiffany’s language either. Another user wrote online: “Did that Tiffany just fat shame that audience member how is this allowed.”
When another user replied to say Tiffany had also made a comment about Donna, the original poster said: “Absolutely disgusting how she’s getting away with it.”
Another post read: “I have no idea why people seem to love Tiffany Pollard, she seems like a loud vile human being. Fat shaming someone but can some how get away with it because she just shouts at everyone.” ITV has a viewer services FAQs page readily available on their site to help with anyone who has an issue with any lines on any of their shows.
Earlier in the week, Tiffany also appeared on This Morning. During her segment, she made a brutal dig about Gemma Collins‘ weight, leaving the hosts stunned as she reignited her feud with the former TOWIE star. The duo had appeared on 2016’s version of Celebrity Big Brother together.
During Tiffany’s chat with Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, talk turned to her own time in the house and her feud with Gemma. The pair seemed firm friends at first before things turned sour. Discussing an incident from their time in the house regarding shoes, Tiffany stunned the hosts as she made a swipe at Gemma’s weight.
She said: “I was like ‘Honey I would’ve given you those shoes back’ because her big everything knocked stones out of those shoes. I did look at those shoes and examine them, they were missing so many diamonds girl she could’ve kept them.”
Alison then asked: “Are you friends now? Have you made up? Do you DM each other?” Tiffany admitted: “We will never be that close Alison but what she did say when I left the house, she said ‘Well done.'”
