Teacher made boy, 13, ‘rub her feet like he loved her’ and gave him crude nickname

Must read

A vice principal made a 13-year-old pupil – whom she nicknamed “Sexy Chocolate” – rub her feet “like he loved her,” police say.

Dr Keiva Lark insisted she was giving the boy an opportunity to “practice for his future girlfriend,” it is alleged. Police say the teacher at Lake Marion Creek School in Poinciana, Florida, then showed the student how she wanted to be massaged by touching the child’s arm and shoulder, “so he would know what foreplay is when he gets a girlfriend.”

But it is said Lark, aged 53, later confessed to a colleague and they reported her alleged behaviour to police. The vice principal was arrested and has now been charged with lewd conduct and a lewd offence against a student by an authority figure.

Lark has been suspended from her role at Lake Marion Creek School, which is around 40 miles southwest of Orlando. During the investigation there, it is thought the alleged victim told police Lark had referred to him as “Sexy Chocolate” while passing him in the hallway.

It is alleged the behaviour happened when Lark was disciplining the boy for throwing a paper ball across the classroom during a test last month. The teacher kicked off her shoes, put her legs across his lap and told him to “rub her feet, since he didn’t have anything better to do with his hands,” it is reported that two witnesses and the victim told police.

Lark was then heard scolding the boy for not rubbing her feet to her liking, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Grady Judd said: “It is completely inappropriate for a 53-year old woman to act and talk like this to a middle school boy. It’s even worse given that this was an assistant principal and her student.”

It is reported that, during an interview with police, Lark conceded that she acted inappropriately as an assistant principal but denied saying anything inappropriate to the boy.

Yet, Superintendent Heid, of Polk County Public Schools, said: “This is abhorrent behaviour for anyone who works among students, especially an administrator. This person no longer has any business being around children. We commend the school principal for immediately reporting this incident, so we could take action and work with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office to protect students.”

Parents expressed their concern at the allegations online. However, criminal proceedings continue against Lark, who it is understood moved to the school in the past two years after working at a school in the Lake Wales area of Florida.
