The first Celebrity Big Brother eviction will take place tonight, and bookies have revealed who’s most likely to be voted off. Mickey Rourke, Tory MP Michael Fabricant, and Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd are all up for eviction – and one of the celebs has a high chance of saying goodbye.
While the housemates were nominated for eviction by their fellow stars, the public will have the final vote about who should be the first celeb to leave after less than a week in the house.
All eyes will be on Mickey, 72, who sparked a wave of Ofcom complaints before he even stepped foot into the house on night one thanks to his treatment of host AJ Odudu, and very soon after his first outrageous moment got a warning on Wednesday night for his homophobic language towards Jojo Siwa.
His insulting comments even led to him being up for axing, as Jojo got her revenge by picking Mickey for potential elimination after Big Brother gave her the killer nomination power.
Despite using a vile slur, Card Player says that Mickey might not be on the chopping block tonight – and fans might choose to let his drama reign for a bit longer. The bookies revealed that Michael is most likely to get the boot at 4/6, followed by Mickey with 2/1 and Jack at 5/1.
Spokesperson Liam Solomon explained: “Michael Fabricant has emerged as the clear frontrunner for eviction from the Celebrity Big Brother House tonight, with the former Tory politician 4/6 to leave the show in Friday’s episode.
“While Mickey Rourke’s controversial behaviour initially had him tipped for an early exit, public voting may give him a brief reprieve – especially with producers under pressure to act independently following his behaviour in the house so far.”
He added: “Jack P. Shepherd has kept a relatively low profile, which could work in his favour, but at 5/1 he’s still an outside shot if the public decides to punish apathy over outrage.”
Even if the public does choose to keep Mickey in, he’ll have to keep his head down to last much longer in the show after Big Brother gave him an official warning. Soon after saying the homophobic comment to Jojo, he was called into the Diary Room and told to keep himself in check.
Big Brother read the exchange to Mickey, and asked if he understood how his language could be offensive to his housemates or the public. The actor mused: “Yeah I think so. If I was saying it in a nasty kind of way or if I truly meant it.”
He was then told that further language or behaviour of such unacceptable nature could lead to him being removed from the house.
