Must read

Police are on the hunt for a sicko accused of sexually asaulting a dead man on a New York City subway. The alleged necrophiliac is believed to have carried out the depraved act on an R train at Whitehall Street subway station just after midnight on Wednesday, April 9.

He then fled the station and is now the subject of a manhunt by the NYPD. The unamed perpetrator is described as being around 5ft9 inches tall and weighing roughly 195lbs with black hair and brown eyes. According to the New York Post, his last known address was Manor Avenue in the Soundview section of the Bronx.

The deceased man, who has also not been named, died of natural causes, sources said. They do not believe the two knew each other.

The incident came just two days after the NYPD were alerted to a terrifying attack inside a New York subway station on Monday, where a man allegedly attempted to rape a woman.

The alleged victim, 30, was set upon at Rutgers Street and East Broadway station on the Lower East side as she waited for a northbound F train at around 2.30am.

Police said the man approached the woman from behind and tried speaking to her in Spanish, but when she tried to get away via an escalator, she was followed.

The man then wrapped his arm around her, forced her trousers down and tried to rape her, the NYPD said.

The woman attempted to dial 911 but the attacker grabbed her phone and flung it across the side of the escalator, authorities said.

The attacker, who was captured on surveillance footage passing through the turnstile and fleeing the station, is believed to be aged between 25 and 35 years old and around 5ft4 inches tall with light skin, a thin build and black hair.

He was last seen wearing a white hoodie, dark blue jeans and white trainers.

The woman was meanwhile taken to the hospital and is in a stable condition.
