ITV’s Celebrity Big Brother is well underway, and many eagle-eyed viewers have noticed that Patsy Palmer doesn’t seem to be too fond of one housemate.
Patsy, real name Julie, is an English actress and DJ best known for her role as Bianca Jackson in EastEnders. She’s currently living in the Big Brother House as part of the show’s 2025 season.
So far, she’s kept a pretty low profile, but fans of the actress have noticed that she’s been making some subtle signals – and it doesn’t look good for 72-year-old Mickey Rourke, who has already caused controversy with inappropriate remarks to Jojo Siwa.
X user Jack Thompson took to the social media platform to write: “I would be 100% satisfied if #CelebrityBigBrother was just an hour-long edit of Patsy Palmer giving Mickey Rourke dirty looks. #CBBUK”.
Mickey Rourke has caused a stir with bizarre behaviour, vile homophobic remarks, and even fatphobia. Many demanded that he be “instantly removed” from the house for his interaction with Jojo, where the 21-year-old Dance Moms star kept her cool – even trying to educate him later on.
In the shocking moment, Mickey asks JoJo: “Do you like girls or boys?” After revealing that her partner is non-binary, Mickey responded: “If I stay longer than four days, you won’t be gay anymore”.
He later asked Chris Hughes if everyone has to vote one another out of the house. Mickey said: “I’m going to vote the lesbian out real quick”.
JoJo, who overheard, said: “That’s homophobic if that was your reasoning,” and Chris explained to Mickey that he couldn’t say that.
After asking JoJo where the smoking area is, Mickey exclaimed: “I need a f*g”. He then gestured to JoJo and said: “I’m not talking to you”.
The interaction led to a conversation between Chris and Jojo, in which Jojo became upset and thanked Chris for being a good ally.
The influencer managed to get her own back later. On opening night, JoJo, Mickey and Chris were all selected to head into the Prize Room.
They were met with three choices – immunity, which keeps them protected; guardian angel, which allows them to give immunity to another housemate; or killer nomination, where they will be forced to put another housemate at risk – and Jojo received a killer nomination.
She opted to put Mickey up for nomination, as he didn’t seem to grasp how offensive his comments were and even chose to use the offensive word again in a later conversation in the bedroom.
Speaking about the looks Patsy had been giving out to Mickey, someone responded: “You can feel it in the air. It’s coming…she’s gonna go full-on Bianca mode!”
“She’s going to lose her s**t with him, and it will be glorious,” another added.
One woman wrote: “I think she’s fully analysing him, and then she’s gonna pop off out of nowhere”.
Another penned: “She’s trying to stay under the radar, but she’s absolutely going to explode at some stage. I can see it in her eyes”. “She’s gonna snap soon can’t wait,” a viewer joked.
