Emmerdale Nate’s final moments ‘revealed after accidental death’

Must read

Viewers think they’ve cracked the case on Emmerdale regarding how Nate Robinson died, and why he was killed.

Fans have been predicting John Sugden will be revealed as his killer for weeks, while Caleb Miligan and even his own dad Cain Dingle have also been rumoured. Ahead of the truth about his death being exposed, with his body still at the bottom of the lake, flashbacks will likely reveal what happened to him.

We don’t know who killed him and why, or how specifically he died. But fans are sure they know his final moments, and how he ended up in the lake.

Perhaps it’s tied in to the flashforward clip of a bodybag being dumped into a stream that aired back in December, with this scene still not explained. The bodybag certainly matched the one in the lake containing Nate’s body.

Now fans think they have unmasked his killer and what led to his death, possibly putting together his final moments. Viewers are convinced, amid a new plot involving John, that John will turn out to be his killer.

Viewers are now predicting John did not mean to kill Nate and that his death was an accident. Fans are wondering if John had hurt Nate only for him to die, or if he didn’t mean to hurt him at all – either way they think he is to blame.

One viewer posted on social media: “I commented my Nate theory on another post already but I think his death may have been an accident. John did something to him and meant to ‘save’ him but got distracted by the fire and he was dead by the time John got back to him so then he had to get rid of the body.”

Another fan replied: “That is a good theory, I never thought about the events like that, and it would make sense considering how he acts around everyone.” A third viewer agreed: “I buy that theory more than John intending to kill him tbh.”

A further theory read; “Maybe he pushed Nate into the lake, and he can’t swim, and John was too late to save him?” Another fan commented: “Could be Nate’s death was a mistake and he had to dispose of the body.”

The theories continued too with a further idea suggesting: “I definitely think he killed Nate but I’m unsure on whether it was intentional or not.” So did John cause Nate’s death, and was it an accident?

There have been hints to him being the killer after Steph Miligan asked if he’d “buried many bodies” with him looking awkward. We also saw him dispose of Anthony Fox’s corpse with ease, while upcoming scenes will tease his dark past it seems with flashbacks and his controlling nature coming to light.

More will be revealed in the coming weeks so fans should stay tuned!
