Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen expressed frustration over receiving unsolicited beauty advice. Frederiksen, 48, recently returned from Ukraine, where she faced air raid sirens amid the ongoing conflict, only to find a message from a plastic surgeon offering to address a perceived flaw on her nose.

Taking to Instagram, Frederiksen revealed the numerous messages she has received critiquing her appearance, including remarks about her teeth, hair, and a supposed ‘wart’ on her nose, along with suggestions for Botox. Without naming the plastic surgeon, she shared his offer and responded firmly, stating she is content with her body and does not require a male plastic surgeon’s opinion.

As a Social Democrat and Denmark’s second female prime minister in her third term, Frederiksen is one of Europe’s most experienced leaders, having led the country since mid-2019. She has vowed to oppose U.S. President Donald Trump’s interests in Greenland and continues to support Ukraine against Russian aggression.

Emphasizing her acceptance of her body as she approaches 50, Frederiksen urged others to focus on more meaningful topics when engaging with her. She described feeling indignant about unsolicited beauty advice and extended empathy to those who also face pressures related to physical appearance.
