The Toronto International Film Festival is attracting film enthusiasts and celebrities to Canada’s largest city. The 51st edition of TIFF, spanning 11 days from Thursday onwards, showcases close to 300 films and notable actors such as Javier Bardem, Cynthia Erivo, and Seth Rogen. Day 1, September 10, saw the commencement of the festival with the red carpet rollout for the opening film “Being Heumann” by acclaimed director Siân Heder. Various highlights included furry friends posing at the TIFF sign on King Street W, the premiere of “Being Heumann” at Roy Thomson Hall, and the attendance of prominent figures like Fan Bingbing and Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow.
