A man who caused fear in a neighborhood during late hours while completely unclothed has been apprehended. Joshua Garrison, 23, was arrested for breaking into multiple residences and damaging property. Surveillance footage captured him wandering in darkness and engaging in inappropriate sexual behavior.
David Dale, a resident, recounted encountering Garrison naked at his door. Garrison proceeded to vandalize Dale’s property by breaking a window and destroying lights. Another neighbor, Thomas Reischmann, described how Garrison entered his property, behaved lewdly, and even grabbed an axe, though he didn’t use it.
Video evidence showed Garrison taking beverages from a fridge before fleeing over a fence. The incident left residents of Pinellas Park, near St. Petersburg in Florida, unsettled, with some mentioning their readiness to defend themselves with firearms.
Garrison, reportedly homeless, faces charges such as armed burglary, lewd conduct, and violating probation. This incident follows another where a naked man entered a home, shocked the resident, and later got stuck in a tree after attempting to evade authorities.
In that separate incident, Steven Burton, 30, intruded into Gail Wilson’s home in Pendleton, Oregon, causing distress. Wilson, alone at the time, feared for her safety as Burton approached her in a friendly yet alarming manner. Burton even confined the family dog before attempting to escape and eventually getting caught in a tree post-cliff jump.
Responding to Wilson’s emergency call, law enforcement arrested Burton as he hung upside down in the tree. The suspect was eventually freed and taken into custody.
