Jade Thirlwall, a former member of the popular group Little Mix, is making waves in the music industry with her solo career. She recently released her debut album titled That’s Showbiz Baby, which includes hits like Angel of My Dreams and FUFN.

One particular track that has caught the attention of fans is her rendition of Before You Break My Heart, a mashup that features elements from Diana Ross and The Supremes’ 1965 song, Stop! Interestingly, Jade revealed that the young voice heard in the chorus of the song is actually her own voice from when she was just 11 years old. The vocals were taken from a recording she made while performing at home in South Shields.

Jade shared a video on Instagram showcasing the process behind creating Before You Break My Heart. The clip shows a young Jade singing in a purple dress, juxtaposed with her in the studio listening to the final version of the song.

In another surprising revelation, Jade mentioned that her niece makes an appearance in the video as a younger version of herself. This revelation came after the song was first performed during her BBC Proms show in her hometown at the Glasshouse.

Despite the success of the track, Jade admitted that she won’t be earning any money from it. She explained that she used a sample from Diana Ross without receiving any royalties for the song.

Fans have praised Jade’s creativity in sampling her own childhood vocals, with many expressing excitement and admiration for her work. The unique approach to the production has garnered positive feedback and elevated Jade’s album to new heights in the music industry.
