A confidential message delivered to Donald Trump regarding the Gaza peace agreement has revealed the pre-announcement preparations made by the US president.
Israel and Hamas have reached a temporary ceasefire in Gaza, allowing for the release of remaining captives in the upcoming days in exchange for Palestinian detainees. Trump disclosed that both parties had agreed to end hostilities on Wednesday night, shedding light on the internal mechanisms of the White House.
During a roundtable discussion with conservative influencers and journalists on Wednesday, Secretary of State Marco Rubio attracted Trump’s attention while standing in the back corner of the Blue Room in the White House.
Rubio handed a note to Trump, captured in a photo by an AP photographer, which urged the president to authorize a social media post promptly to announce the deal first.

Trump added, “We cannot afford to take any risks. Hence, we will proceed with that.” He then suggested that certain officials stay behind to field questions in his absence.
Nonetheless, Trump continued to address inquiries before the event concluded without the presence of remaining Cabinet members. Trump optimistically concluded, “We are committed to achieving peace in the Middle East. That’s our primary goal.”
The formal confirmation did not take long to materialize. Around 6:51 pm, approximately two hours after receiving the note from Rubio, Trump triumphantly shared the news on his social media platform, Truth Social.
In his announcement, Trump expressed his pride in the signing of the initial phase of the Peace Plan by Israel and Hamas, ensuring the imminent release of all capt
