Take That enthusiasts are in a frenzy to secure tickets for the band’s upcoming performances. The renowned group’s revamped Circus Live Tour is scheduled to grace UK stadiums in the summer of 2026, as announced by Howard Donald, Gary Barlow, and Mark Owen. This revelation has sparked a social media uproar, hinting at a high demand for tickets.

The Circus Live Tour promises to bring back one of Take That’s unforgettable live shows, featuring 11 confirmed dates at stadiums throughout the UK and Ireland. Tickets for the tour went on sale at 9 am today. Owing to exceptional demand during the pre-sale on Thursday, two extra dates have been added to the highly anticipated tour.

Fans who registered for the pre-sale encountered mixed success, prompting the band’s team to announce additional tour dates this afternoon. The tour lineup now boasts a total of 14 stadium dates across May and June 2026, spanning cities like Manchester, Glasgow, Sunderland, Cardiff, Coventry, and Dublin.

Despite tickets still being available for purchase, scalpers are already exploiting the situation, reselling tickets at inflated prices online. This unethical practice has drawn criticism from fans, expressing outrage over the situation.

The tour is set to kick off at St Mary’s Stadium in Southampton on May 29, followed by performances in Cardiff, Glasgow, and Coventry. However, the Manchester shows at the Etihad Stadium hold special significance for the trio, given the band’s origin in the city in the 1990s. The Etihad Stadium, home to Manchester City, is currently undergoing substantial expansion work, increasing its seating capacity from 53,400 to 60,000 by summer 2026.

Specific details regarding the official capacity for the upcoming Take That concerts at the Etihad Stadium are yet to be confirmed, dependent on the concert’s staging layout. The concert stage will be situated at the North Stand side of the venue, with designated “Front Area Standing A and B” sections clearly indicated on ticketing websites.

Furthermore, Ticketmaster has introduced new measures to enhance transparency for fans purchasing concert tickets, ensuring they are well-informed about pricing and ticket availability. The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) emphasized the importance of these commitments in providing fans with essential information when making ticket purchases.

In light of recent ticketing challenges, Ticketmaster’s improved processes have garnered positive feedback from fans, with many acknowledging the smoother ticket-buying experience. However, other ticketing platforms like Gigs and Tours and See Tickets have faced criticism for technical issues and discrepancies during the ticket purchasing process, leaving some fans frustrated.

Despite these challenges, dedicated Take That fans continue to persevere in securing tickets, with some even finding humor in the online ticketing struggles. Shayne Ward, the X Factor winner, also shared his close encounter with joining Take That, adding an interesting twist to the band’s journey.
