Sky TV customers who enjoy watching movies will notice a significant change in the TV planner starting April 30. The telecoms and TV provider has reorganized its Cinema channel lineup by merging two services into a single channel.

Sky Cinema Animation, previously on channel 312, has now been integrated into Sky Cinema Family on channel 304. This move aims to simplify the viewing experience by consolidating all family-friendly films into one location.

Despite the channel consolidation, viewers will not lose any content. Popular movies like Shrek, The Secret Life of Pets, Smurfs, How to Train Your Dragon, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and Wicked will still be available on Sky Cinema Family.

Sky has assured customers that the content formerly shown on Sky Cinema Animation will continue to be accessible on Sky Cinema Family. Additionally, Sky Cinema Animation will make a temporary return during school holidays, including periods from July 24 to August 30, October 23 to November 1, and December 1 to January 5.

This temporary return will provide entertainment options for children when they are out of school.
