Samsung has unveiled a trio of new Galaxy S26 smartphones, with the standout feature being the Privacy Display on the S26 Ultra. This innovative feature ensures privacy by making content disappear if not viewed directly. It can also be customized to block specific apps or notifications for added security.
The S26 Ultra boasts the industry’s first built-in Privacy Display, a display technology advancement that revolutionizes privacy protection on smartphones. Samsung explained that by controlling pixel light dispersion, the display maintains clear content visibility for the user while limiting visibility to others.
In addition to the Privacy Display, the Ultra model offers a sleeker design, extended battery life, and is powered by Qualcomm’s top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform. Rapid charging capabilities allow for a 75% charge in just 30 minutes.
The Ultra features an upgraded quad rear camera for improved low-light photography and enhanced video stabilization with Super Steady capabilities. It also includes an S Pen for note-taking on the 6.9-inch AMOLED screen.
Accompanying the Ultra are the standard S26 with a 6.3-inch screen and the larger 6.7-inch Plus version, both equipped with Samsung’s Exynos chip and triple-lens rear cameras.
Samsung has enhanced the smart features of all new Galaxy S26 models through a Galaxy AI upgrade. New features like Now Nudge provide helpful suggestions to users to enhance productivity and reduce distractions.
