Samsung is set to unveil its latest portable projector, the Freestyle+, at the upcoming CES tech show in Las Vegas. This compact device is an upgrade from the older Freestyle projector and boasts enhanced AI features, brighter display capabilities, and an expanded range of entertainment options.

A notable improvement in the Freestyle+ is its simplified setup process for users. By simply powering on the device, the Freestyle+ takes care of the rest, thanks to Samsung’s AI OptiScreen technology. This feature allows the projector to automatically adjust the picture quality to suit different environments, eliminating the need for manual adjustments.

The AI OptiScreen technology also introduces several intelligent features to enhance image quality under varying conditions. These include 3D Auto Keystone for correcting image distortions on uneven surfaces, Real-time Focus for maintaining sharpness during movement, Screen Fit for automatic image sizing on compatible screens, and Wall Calibration to optimize image clarity based on the projection surface.

With these advanced capabilities, setting up the Freestyle+ projector is expected to be hassle-free. Designed for portability, the Freestyle+ can be easily moved between rooms and comes with a built-in speaker. It supports Wi-Fi connectivity and provides access to popular streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video.

Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display Business, highlighted the Freestyle+’s adaptability to users’ lifestyles, combining portability with intelligent AI for an enhanced viewing experience. The Freestyle+ is anticipated to hit stores in early 2026, although pricing details have not been confirmed yet.
