Police responded to a report of a nude man walking along Topsham Road in Exeter during the early hours of Saturday morning. A woman, who was returning home from a night out, expressed her fear at the unexpected encounter near Barrack Road. She flagged down passing traffic and was assisted by two men in a van who stayed with her until the authorities arrived.
The woman shared her terror on social media, describing the unsettling experience of encountering the naked man who behaved erratically. She mentioned feeling grateful for the assistance she received from the two men who ensured her safety until the police intervened.
According to Devon Live, the woman, who was on the phone with her daughter at the time, initially spotted the man moving in and out of bushes, causing her distress. The incident left her shaken and reluctant to walk home alone in Exeter again.
