Lewis Hamilton is expanding his involvement in the entertainment industry by developing a television show concept and working on a couple of animated films through his production company, Dawn Apollo Films. The seven-time world champion played a significant role in bringing the successful F1 movie to theaters.

Known for his creative endeavors beyond racing, Hamilton, aged 40, has a keen interest in music production and is now venturing into cinema, with the F1 movie marking his notable entry into the field.

The F1 movie, which garnered a remarkable £479 million ($629 million) at the global box office, emerged as the highest-grossing sports film in history, surpassing Pixar’s Cars 2.

In a discussion with The Ferrari Magazine, Hamilton expressed his satisfaction with the project, highlighting his active involvement in the film’s production process. He collaborated with director Joe Kosinski and assisted in various aspects, including editing and providing feedback, culminating in a rewarding experience over the four-year journey.

Following the success of the F1 movie, Hamilton’s Dawn Apollo Films remains active in the film industry, with the British driver already planning future productions. He emphasized his passion for storytelling and the importance of sharing inspirational narratives, particularly in challenging times.

Hamilton revealed his ongoing creative projects, mentioning a television show concept and multiple animation film ideas in the works. Despite the influx of opportunities post-F1 movie, he emphasized prioritizing quality over quantity in line with acclaimed filmmaker Quentin Tarantino’s approach.

Moreover, Hamilton underscored the significance of maintaining a creative balance alongside his racing commitments. He highlighted the importance of finding inspiration and upliftment through creativity to avoid burnout and maintain a holistic approach to life.

On the racing front, Hamilton continues his pursuit of a first F1 podium finish with Ferrari. As the 2025 season enters its final stages, Ferrari is engaged in a tight battle for the Constructors’ Championship against Mercedes and Red Bull, holding a narrow one-point lead over its competitors.
