Jude Law has expressed interest in reprising his role in The Holiday only if director Nancy Meyers is involved. Law, a 52-year-old actor, was unaware of a new Apple TV+ limited series based on the 2006 romantic comedy favorite, confirming that he has no plans to return as Graham.

During an interview with Craig Melvin on the Today show, Law mentioned that he had limited information about the series and was uncertain about his involvement. He shared that Meyers had reached out to him, asking if he had heard about the project.

Law emphasized that Nancy Meyers’ participation would be crucial if he were to consider returning to his character. He credited Meyers for the magic she brought to the original film.

The upcoming series, which will be written and executive produced by Krissie Ducker and Rob Delaney, has kept details about the cast under wraps.

Meyers expressed surprise about the series, stating on her Instagram Stories that she was unaware of its development. The film, which revolves around two heartbroken women who find love during a holiday exchange, has garnered a special place in viewers’ hearts.

Contrary to sequel speculations, Meyers admitted that she never envisioned the movie becoming a perennial Christmas favorite. She explained that her focus was on portraying the characters’ stories authentically against the backdrop of the holiday season.

Meanwhile, Law is currently featured in a new Netflix crime thriller set in the underworld of New York. Titled “Black Rabbit,” the series follows the owner of a popular New York restaurant who grapples with family dynamics and past traumas that threaten to dismantle everything they have built.

Filmed on location in New York, “Black Rabbit” offers a realistic portrayal of the city’s atmosphere, with notable scenes shot around Coney Island, Manhattan, and Brooklyn. Jason Bateman, known for his roles in “Ozark” and “Arrested Development,” is also part of the production.
